Group OutingOur aim is to assist in meeting the social needs of our residents and to provide a stimulating environment. We will make the necessary arrangements to meet your religious and spiritual needs; and we will ensure that our staff are aware of your preferences in this regard.
At the same time no resident will feel pressured into attending a church service or receiving a pastoral visit.

SoiréeWe quite often visit Buckfast Abbey gardens where there is a superb tea room and gift shops. The atmosphere there is tranquil and spiritually uplifting. At Christmas time we enjoy musical soirees at interesting venues such as Flete house and Saltram House. On these occasions we often dress up and make sure that we have fun.

Tea Dance at the Church HallOn the first and third Mondays of each month there is a Tea dance at the local church hall. This is a pleasurable pursuit, especially for the ladies, where they meet new friends and rekindle old friendships.

Horticultural activities are encouraged. Our large greenhouse provides the facilities for raising and nurturing plants for the garden and house. We are often visiting garden centres, to refresh ourselves as well as the gardens.
