Our professionally trained Care Staff

We are very proud of our carers; many of them have been with Sunshine Care since the start. Our continuous training policy ensures that we deliver the highest quality of care possible. Our team is always up to date on the latest health and safety issues such as lifting and food hygiene. We have a strong consistent base of live in care staff that come from a variety of backgrounds and range in age from 18 to 70. We have female and male carers available many whom have their own transport.


Quality Assurance

Training and Police Checks: We will not assign care workers or PA's to clients before they have passed our careful recruitment and vetting process and completed four days of intensive training in our sister training and recruitment company, Sunshine Training and Recruitment Ltd, passing all their qualification requirements.

Value for money: We may be the cheapest, but other companies cannot match our quality value, considering the guidance and administration support we provide to our clients and our care workers and personal assistants.

Recruiting the very best staff. All our PAs and Care Support Staff must successfully complete our 4 day in-house live in care training programme before they commence work.

Our PAs and Care Support Staff also can access further short training courses, either on-line or by attending our Training College.

Everybody is required to undertake their NVQ in Care within six months of joining our organisation.

Everybody has a cheerful disposition, good character and pleasant personality.

Good references and a thorough CRB Police Check is required.

Adequate qualifications, skills and maturity also required.
